The Masterclass was facilitated by Sihle Zikalala, the Minister of Public Works and Infrastructure of South Africa, and featured a panel of experts who encouraged investors and influential figures to back an infrastructure-focused economic recovery strategy for the country.

The Department of Public Works and Infrastructure’s approach to resolving this problem, which emphasizes professional growth, creative problem-solving, and forward-looking planning, was described by Zikalala.

The symposium, which follows President Cyril Ramaphosa’s inaugural keynote speech on March 19, is anticipated to inspire important discussions and influence policies fostering a more skilled and inclusive infrastructure industry in South Africa.

Along with a leaders’ roundtable and the declaration of the top 12 infrastructure project priorities for government investment, the event also included the presentation of the Construction Book, which details impending infrastructure projects.
